Repeated eGFR measurements were analysed over 12 months. Higher baseline kidney function and shorter ischaemia time were associated with more favourable recovery trajectories, informing surgical planning and postoperative follow-up.

Negative margins were achieved in 97.4% of cases and two-year recurrence-free survival was 94.7%; mean eGFR declined by 13.4% at 12 months. The paper discusses complications, warm ischaemia and a combined surgical outcome measure.

Among 26 patients at two hospitals, continence at one month was reported in 60.0% of trained patients versus 18.2% of controls. Median time to recovery was six versus fourteen weeks, supporting a practical rehabilitation pathway.
